Virtual Directory

A 403 Forbidden error on IIS (Windows hosting) means:

✔ The Virtual Directory exists

BUT

❌ IIS is not allowing permission to access that folder.

এটা শুধু Virtual Directory তৈরি করলেই ঠিক হয় না — IIS-এ Read permission enable করতে হয়।

✅ Fix (Most likely cause): Virtual Directory does not allow READ access

When you created the Virtual Directory, IIS automatically blocked public access unless you enable permissions.

You must enable:

✔ “Read”

✔ “Directory Browsing” (optional)

✔ “Indexes” (optional)

🔧 Solution: Enable Permissions in Virtual Directory Settings

In Arsys Windows Hosting panel:

Step 1: Go to

Hosting Control Panel → Virtual Directories

Step 2: Click on the Virtual Directory you created (storage)

Step 3: Enable the following options:

• Read → ✔ Enable

• Scripts → ✔ Enable

• Browse → (optional but helps)
